South beach diet vs sonoma diet
This purpose being the elimination of high carbohydrate foods and processed foods. Phase 1 of the Sonoma diet (the INDUCTION phase) lasts 10 days, and the purpose of this phase is to eliminate sugar based carbs, processed foods, unhealthy fats, and even healthy foods containing sugar such as fruit. We have created a Secret Diet Plan which can allow you to lose weight faster than any other diet available. Same thing the Atkins diet, these diet are a one-trick-pony and they all give the same basic results in weight loss. So it does seem similar to South Beach in many ways. then the weight starts to creep back thereafter. Our opinion: We do not recommend using the Sonoma Diet for the same reasons that we do not recommend using the Atkins or South Beach diets. A friend of mine has the book and many of the recipes look very good and many are compatable with South Beach. ) Actually, I have to say many of the recipes seemed more appealing than the ones in the South Beach book which I never use. They all start with decent weight loss in the first few weeks. The Sonoma Diet looks like a very healthy way to eat also. Post it here so others can share their thoughts. Most diets are either 2 or 3 phases (introduction for a quick weight loss boost, a sustained weight loss phase, and a maintenence phase. To be honest, there was really nothing particularly new about SB either. Both plans use this second phase to bring back certain types of carbs (such as fruits) into the diet. Sonoma calls it wave 1 and both have a Phase 2 and 3 with meals that sound similiar in the plan. It also emphasises whole grains, fruits and veggies. Posts: 22 Joined: Wed Jul 13, 2005 9:17 pm.
